Travis Rutz Auction a Huge Success!!

Happy Monday everyone!

At 8:30 Sunday evening, after everything was said and done, I looked around at a few of my friends that stuck around to help turn that place back into a lodge and I just smiled. The goal for the benefit was $15,000, which I thought to be realistic, but not one of my tireless friends would accept that as good enough. Thank god they wouldn't.

The list of people to thank is overwhelming! To anyone I forget please know I appreciate everything everyone did to help, from every donation, to every person there!

First off, thank you to Shane Collins and Brent Anderson....they are both god sent! There is nothing those guys can't do, or wouldn't do for a friend. The event would not have been successful with out all their countless hours of work. Kaleb Hart, all he has done to help where ever and with whatever he could from day one...thank you! Fabulous job as our auctioneer last night. Rick Robertson, (Double-R from 99.9 the Rock) taking time to be there with his demanding schedule to co-auctioneer. Kenny and the family that could make it, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Needed mentions are the amazing people that put in a very long, demanding day. VOLUNTEERS: The Edson family, The Anderson family, Shane, Sparky, The Banner Bank girls (Beth, Merissa, and Kayla), Stacey, Shawna, Chelsea, Spud, Sumo, Cody, Aaron...I'm sorry if I forget anyone. BEHIND THE SCENES: Fire-Down, Liquid Lime, Liquid Ink, Masonic Temple-Crystal Lodge, Ken and Debbie Anderson, Boundary Bay Brewery, Coca-Cola, Rudeen Racing, EVERYONE who donated auction items!!...the list goes on and on. You are all AMAZING!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday! Everyone that walked through those doors was there for one reason and it was a touching day I will not soon forget. All the generosity was truly amazing and leads me to the much awaited part of my 'thank you'.

The grand total for the "Slide Job City" Fundraiser is about $30,000!!! Great job to the whole Northwest for pulling together for Travis!

Thank you again to you all,
