The Washington State Racing Series Midgets are Coming to Dirt Cup!

The newly formed Washington State Racing Series midgets are coming to Skagit Speedway and are part of the 39th Dirt Cup weekend. "I've been working on a state wide midget series and a sprint car series for a couple years now" Stated promoter Steve Beitler, "We got the midget deal put together with George Wade at Grays Harbor Raceway this year, Hopefully we can do the same with the sprint cars next year".


The midgets will race under the current rules that are used for the Focus Midgets at Grays Harbor. The eight race series will feature four nights at Skagit Speedway and four nights at Grays Harbor Raceway. The overall point champion will be crowned 'The Washington State Midget Champion'.

The Midgets will race on both Friday and Saturday nights as a support class for the Dirt Cup.
