Dirt Cup Party Kicks Off Dirt Cup 2010

Race fans, vendor booths and race teams packed the Haggen parking lot Wednesday afternoon under mostly sunny skies. The excitement is building towards what is promising to be one of the best Dirt Cup races in history.

Appearing at this years event were two-time champion Jonathan Allard, three-time champion Brent Kaeding, Tommy Tarlton, Peter Murphy, Zach Zimmerly, Jason Bloodgood, Cam Smith, James Bundy, Skinny Colson, Barry Martinez and Kyle Larson. Also making an appearance was the National Sprint Car Hall Of Fame raffle Sprint Car.

Teams are coming from four countries and many US States including Oklahoma, Indiana, California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

The premiere 410 Sprint Car race on the West Coast is now in its 39th year. Don't miss one minute of the action. Racing starts at 7pm all three nights with added entertainment attractions. On Thursday the Outlaw Hornets will also be on the program. With Friday and Saturday seeing the Washington State Midget Series in action.

A new wrinkle this season is an internet broadcast on www.SkagitRadio.com all three nights. Broadcast times are 6pm, 6pm and 7pm respectively.
