Kelsey Carpenter - 27c Started racing in 2001, in the sportsman class. a couple top 5 finishes his first year. and a few top 10's. Only ran about half a season. 2002 ran full season couple 3rd place finishes, 4 top 5,s . finished 7th in overall season points in 02 in a class of 30 cars or so. 2003 4 top 5,s finished like 11th in points cuz missed 2 weeks of racing from being out of town. Won first A feature ever, then won the following week after making first wins back to back. Car broke the following week , then won again the week after that on the season ending race fan appreciation nite. 2004 great year 4 A feature wins, 2 2nd place, 2 3rd place, couple other top 5's 7th place in owner and driver points, had engine trouble twice or would have been better.. won the infamous 50th anniversary night A feature event. Also won best appearing car and most improved driver at the end of season awards banquet. 2005 4A feature wins, 4 second place, 3 other top 5's. 2 second place finishes only by half a car length, almost got em, 2nd place overall season points in driver and car owner points, 2nd highest points scorer in hard charger points of any driver at the whole track in all classes, which are passing points. 2nd highest overall season points scorer in all classes at the track. Only beat in hard charger points by 1 point, and lost the season points by only a margin of 30 points, 110 points possible on a night of racing, gave it our best!! 2008 Sportsman Sprint Champion
