The Shipwreck Beads Modifieds return this Saturday night to the Skagit Speedway oval as Craig Moore looks to defend his 2013 championship title.
Craig has his work cut out for himself as his son Kyler will be racing the brand new crate motor he won at the year-end Awards Banquet last year, sponsored by Glen and Kim Hanson of Here2Wire, Inc. The rest of the Modified field will make them work for their money, including 2013 Grays Harbor Raceway Modified Champion Joe German and Modified driver Tom Sweatman.
Joining the Modifieds this Saturday will be the 360 Sprint Cars, Sportsman Sprints and Outlaw Tuners. Tayler Malsam will try and carry his momentum from his 410 win last week and stretch his lead in the 360 points standings, but not without a challenge from defending champion Kelsey Carpenter and the rest of the 360 field. With a tie atop the Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprint series points,Cory Swatzina and Zach McCabe will battle to take the reigns in early season competition. Fresh off of his win last week, Freddie Vela will go for his second win of the season as Brian Michelson and Matt Ploeg chase him down.
Join us this Saturday for edge-of-your-seat motorsports entertainment! Spectator gates open at 5:30pm with racing at 7:00pm.
