SKAGIT VALLEY RUGBY

Funds raised: $874.20

Funds used for: Supporting Skagit Valley Rugby High School Boys North American Invitational 7's team.

The impact the funds had on your organization: All proceeds from the Skagit Speedway 50/50 raffle were used to support the Skagit Valley Rugby Club High School Boys team, enabling them to compete at the North American Invitational 7's tournament in Salt Lake City, UT. The raffle proceeds helped cover travel expenses, room/board, and sponsorship of athletes in need of financial assistance. This process helped in making it possible for our local student athletes to participate and gain valuable experience without bearing the full financial burden. This is a great example of how local community efforts, such as raffles and donations, can make a significant difference in providing student athletes with the opportunity to compete at higher levels and grow in their sport.
