SKAGIT SPEEDWAY RAISES WEEKLY PURSES OVER $19,000 FOR 2019!

Skagit Speedway is pleased to announce the purses for all classes have been increased by over $19,000 for the regular weekly shows. The following is the highlights of the increases:

The 360 Sprint Class will increase from $1,400 to $1,600 to win and 2nd place from $900 to $1,000. The start money has increased from $220 to $300.

Sportsman Sprints will increase from $600 to $700 to win and 2nd from $350 to $400.The Start money has increased from $120 to $150.

Modified Class will increase the start money from $100 to $125 and added money to each position all the way up to 6th place.

Midget Class will increase the start money from $80 to $100 with added money to each position all the way up to 4th place.

There has also been an increase for the B mains in all classes (above the $19,000).

In addition to the weekly purses there has been an increase to the purse on Friday night of the 360 Summer Nationals from $1,500 to win to $1,600 and from $250 to start to $300 to start.

The Washington Modified Tour will increase from $500 to $600 to win and added money to each position through 18th at $125 (up from $100).

As was suggested and discussed at the owners meeting, part of the purse increase will be derived from a small pit pass increase (the average team will spend $10-$20 more per –night and will be racing for $20 to $80 and as much as $200 more per night. The balance of the purse increases will come from the anticipated grandstand attendance increases.

We hope to announce in the next few days a paid race program for the Tuner class. That is almost completed.

Purses can be found on Driver Info Page

We will also announce the purse increases for the Grays Harbor Raceway shortly.
