GIANT FIREWORKS SHOW JULY 5 - Presented by Les Schwab Tire Centers

Catch all the thrills on the track during the Les Schwab Tire Centers Fireworks Show at Skagit Speedway, then stick around after the last checkered flag as we light up the sky with a massive fireworks show this Saturday, July 5—fun for the whole family! Watch the 360 Sprint Cars tear up the dirt, also on the schedule are the IMCA Modifieds and the Hornets.

The 360 Sprint Cars make their return after being off since their last race on Saturday, June 14 – the weekend before Dirt Cup. This weekend will be their sixth race this year. In the previous night out, Jason Solwold sunk his teeth into his first Skagit Speedway win of 2025, leading all 30 laps over Trey Starks. The win ended Stark's run of two 360 race wins in a row while also being Solwolds' 13th win since 2010 and first 360 win since August 27, 2022. It was also his first overall Skagit win since July 22, 2023 when he won in the KarMart 410 division. Starks and Colton Heath both have yet to finish outside the top five through the five features completed so far. Solwold and Levi Hillier have yet to finish outside the top 10 in any races this year. Starks leads the points battle with 598 points; Heath is second, 66 points behind, and Solwold is third, 81 points behind Starks.

Similar to the 360s, the IMCA Modifieds have also been off since last running on June 14. Through four races this year, Jeff Westergard is the most recent winner and the only two-timer so far. Westergard picked up that second win in their most recent race. The Sedro-Woolley, WA native and defending track champion started ninth and was in the lead by lap eight after getting around Ben Gunderson, who led the opening seven laps. Westergard, James Bundy, and Alan Grimbly are the only three drivers to have finished inside the top 10 in all four races this year. Westergard leads the driver's points with 152 total, while Adam Holtrop and Bundy sit tied for second place, both only six points back of Westergard. Cole Logan is the next closest in fourth, 14 points behind the points leader. Logan and Geoff Morris are the other two winners this year.

The Hornets are back in racing action again after racing last Saturday June 28. Steve Peters in the Battle Wagon got the win, for his first of the season. So far through three races, there have been three different winners: Scott Henry won during their opening night, while Colin Sims won Sunday June 16, and Peters won most recently. Howard Vos and Raven Skaugrud both have yet to finish outside the top five this year through three races. Vos leads the points battle with 341 points. Skaugrud sits in second 32 points behind, and Housman is third and 65 back.
