HALL OF FAME NIGHT - SATURDAY, JULY 12

Join Skagit Speedway this Saturday, July 12, for Doyle Guffie's Rallye Auto Sales Hall of Fame Night at Skagit Speedway. The KarMART 410 Sprint Cars are back and ready to roar around Skagit Speedway while being joined by the Sportsman Sprint Cars and the CGE Garage Midgets.

This will be a very special Saturday night as we officially induct the Lemley Brothers into the Skagit Speedway Hall of Fame. Dave, Bill and Paul Lemley are the three newest members of the Skagit Speedway Hall of Fame.

The 410 Sprint Cars are back after having last Saturday, July 5, off. Saturday will also be the only opportunity to see the 410s in July. Skagit Speedway is closed July 19 for the Clay Cup Nationals at Deming Speedway. Then, July 25-26 is the Fred Brownfield 360 Nationals Presented By Bob’s Burgers & Brew at Skagit Speedway. The last time the 900+ horsepower beast lit up Skagit Speedway, Jason Solwold got the victory after getting around Justin Youngquist in lap traffic just past the halfway portion of the race. The win was also his first 410 win at Skagit Speedway since July 22, 2023. Excluding Dirt Cup, Solwold has yet to finish outside the top five in a weekly show at Skagit Speedway and during Dirt Cup, he made the A-Main all three nights, finishing 12th, 4th, and 11th, respectively. Trey Starks leads the points battle with 863 points while Solwold is second, 33 points behind. Robbie Price is third, 137 points behind Starks.

The Sportsman Sprint Cars are back from after their last race on June 28. Steve Hendrickson achieved his second win of the year, which ties him with Jesson Jacobson for the most this season. Hendrickson had a clean sweep of the night after setting quicktime in qualifying, winning his heat race, and leading all 25 laps of the main event. While the Sportsman didn't race at Skagit Speedway this past Saturday, July 5, there was a three day Sportsman Sprint Car race at Cottage Grove Speedway in Oregon, featuring many of Skagit Speedway's regulars. Jesson Jacobson won on the final night however he was not the champion of the event. Jacobson is back out front in the points battle for the Sportsmans with 652, Jayden Whitney is in second, 21 points behind, and Hendrickson is third, 47 points behind Jacobson.

The CGE Garage Midgets return after last racing during Dirt Cup weekend. Dirt Cup was a big week for Ryan Orchard, driver of the 32R from Sidney, BC. He picked up his first career win in the division during the Thursday night portion of the program and then backed it up with a win on the final night. Orchard was hounded by Alex Peck for a majority of the race but was able to hold him off en route to leading all 25 laps and the win. Orchard now ties Tristin Thomas for the most wins in the division with two. Shane Smith leads the points battle with 493 points; however, his lead is narrow, as Orchard is only two points behind in second place. Nick Evans is third, 44 points off the lead. Smith has yet to finish outside the top five this season through five races. Orchard has yet to finish outside the top 10 in five races, including four top fives, in that span.
