Skagit Speedway is set to close out its 2025 season with a bang, literally, during the first-ever Two-Day Season Championship Weekend, presented by The Skagit Casino Resort. Engines will fire off on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20, as the Speedway wraps up its 2025 season with a high-stakes celebration of speed, skill, and community. This expanded format marks a thrilling evolution in the Speedway’s legacy and commitment to growth, featuring six electrifying classes and a grand finale fireworks show.
Thanks to the continued partnership with The Skagit Casino Resort, the newly expanded Championship Weekend has evolved into a marquee event for fans and drivers alike. From branded giveaways and exclusive promotions to elevated hospitality experiences, the Casino’s partnership is helping turn the season finale into a true celebration for drivers and fans to close the 2025 season.

The Points Battles: Too Close to Call
As the season finale approaches, championship titles hang in the balance:
• 410 Sprint Cars: One of the hottest drivers on the west coast, Trey Starks leads with 1291 points, local legend Jason Solwold is just 13 points behind him.
• 360 Sprint Cars: Seeing double in the 360 Sprint Car class, Trey Starks also leads Solwold by 76 points. With four wins under his belt, Starks is looking to lock down a double-title weekend.
• Sportsman Sprints: Jayden Whitney and Steven Hendrickson are neck-and-neck, separated by just three points.
• IMCA Modifieds: Jeff Westergard holds a slim 11-point lead over Adam Holtrop, setting up a showdown between Sedro-Woolley’s finest.
• Hornets & Midgets: With tight gaps and rookie contenders rising, these divisions promise unpredictable finishes and breakout performances.
Weekend Schedule Highlights
• Friday Night: 360 Sprint Cars, CGE Garage Midgets, Hornets
• Saturday Night: KarMart 410 Sprint Cars, Sportsman Sprint Cars, Modifieds
• Fireworks Show: Saturday night finale to light up the sky and celebrate the season
