Jared Peterson wins night #3 of the NW Focus Midgets Sage Fruit Skagit Nationals
The final event for the NW Focus Midget Series at Skagit Speedway in 2021 ended with Jared Peterson taking home the feature win on the final night of the Sage Fruit Skagit Nationals. Peterson passed Colton Heath on lap two and held the field at bay to score the feature win, with Travis Jacobson coming out on top of an exciting battle with Colton Heath for second. By virtue of just showing up to race, Nick Evans won the Skagit Speedway season championship, punctuating his title with a fifth place run in the feature and a heat race win. Peterson, Heath and Shane Smith won the other heat races, while “Hodie The Outlaw” Michal Hodel won the B Main.
