DRIVER AGE REQUIREMENTS
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
**WE HAVE UPDATED OUR DRIVER AGE REQUIREMENTS AS REQUIRED BY OUR INSURANCE COMPANY. **
AGE GUIDELINES/REQUIREMENTS (OPEN WHEEL)
THESE ARE REQUIREMENTS FOR APPROVAL OF AGE LIMIT FOR DRIVERS IN DIVISIONS.
SPRINT CARS 360 AND LOWER: Driver must be 14 years of age regardless at the time of sign in. (Must obtain driver requirements)
Track Size 1/2 mile or smaller:
SPRINT CARS 410: Driver must be 16 years of age regardless at the time of sign in. (cannot drive a 360 in a 410 class)
AGE GUIDELINES/REQUIREMENTS (CLOSED WHEEL – MODIFIEDS)
THESE REQUIREMENTS FOR APPROVAL OF AGE LIMIT FOR DRIVERS IN DIVISIONS.
CLOSED WHEEL/MODIFIEDS/HORNETS (CLASSES) Jr. classes 4cly – front wheel drive: 12-16 (these are entry level classes and only participant together)(must obtain driver requirements)
MODIFIEDS – A MODS: 14 Driver must be 14 years of age regardless at the time of sign in. (Must obtain driver requirements)
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Below is a Checklist to ensure all forms and requests are completed and supplied to insurance provider, with guidelines by said Racetrack.
- Racer must have prior racing experience (no exception).
- Track Size: 3/8 or smaller (no ½ mile till 16 no exceptions)
- Must be 16 for 410 Sprint car race (cannot drive a 360 in a 410 class)(Same for Open Late Models)
- Must be approved by facility wanting to attend can’t assume your approved just because your approved at another facility.
- Must send track 7 days in advance for approval (all paperwork at one time)
____ DRIVER RESUME OR PROFILE containing all prior racing experience and parents racing experience in motorsports. (must be a PDF/word doc.)
____ Schedule of events and tracks planning to attend (all tracks must get approval even if approved elsewhere)
____ MINOR’S ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY (notarized or use of Pit Pay account is acceptable where accepted)
____ PARENTAL CONSENT, RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY ASSUMPTION OF RISK, & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (notarized no exceptions both guardians if there is two or use of Pit Pay account is acceptable where accepted)
____ BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITH VALID STAMP OR AUTHENTIC SEAL (photocopies will not be accepted)
____ Color copy (front & back) of State issued Driver's License/state learners permit
