JOHN CARROLL CLASSIC & FIREWORKS SHOW!

Join us this Saturday May 27, 2023, for the John Carroll Classic brought to you by IRI & The Follman Agency, plus our first fireworks night of the year! The night will be highlighted by the KarMART Superstores 410 Sprint Car division, Sportsman Sprint Cars, and for the first time this year the IMCA Modifieds make their Skagit Speedway debut!

Last Saturday in the KarMART Superstores 410 Division defending track champion Trey Starks picked up a clean sweep of the night. Starks was challenged by Justin Youngquist who led the opening laps before surrendering the lead to Starks on a restart. Trey Starks finished runner up to Eric Fisher in the John Carroll Classic a year ago when it was still featured as a 360 Division race.

The Sportsman Sprint Cars will hit the track for their second time this season after getting their first laps on the track only a week ago. A weekend ago Eric Fisher led flag to flag in the A-Main to holding off a midrace charge from Levi Klatt to get it done. In 2022 Evan Margeson won the John Carroll Classic in the Sportsman Sprint Car Division for the second time in a row.

The ICMA Modifieds will make their first appearance at Skagit Speedway this year. Last year it was all Rick Smith as he came home with the season championship. Just like Margeson in the Sprint Car, Tyson Blood has been the one to park it in victory lane at the end of the night for the past two years.

Make sure to follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat @skagitspeedway so you don’t miss out on anything! We look forward to seeing you at the track this Saturday for the John Carroll Classic and post-race fireworks all brought to you by IRI & The Follman Agency!!
